So glad he’s okay. But man, that all sounds painful. I’ve always wondered about pet insurance.

    • Like all insurance, it’s a way of forced savings for something you hope will never happen. But with our pets, it seems stuff *always* happens. I just checked and for Gemma, we’ve received nearly $9K in reimbursements over her 8 years of life, which is considerably more than the roughly $50/month we pay in premiums. After this, Myshi will be almost the same. It makes sense for us, Kim. It’s worth checking out. But do get a recommendation; some are better than others and I have no idea what’s available to you.

  • I do have a picture of Harley, but it’s on my website (no clue how to add it here)…

If you’d like to pop over it’s still on the first page of the blog. Harley & Her Fluffy Bunny is the title of the post. Sometimes I can’t help but show a recent pic of her, she’s so cute. lol

I’m so relieved that Myshi is on his way of mending. We have often talked of pet insurance, we need to look into it. Our boys are members of our family!! We will do anything for them.

    • When the time comes, Shari, you’ll be so glad you’ve got it! Thanks for your support, my friend!

  • So grateful that your sweet pup will be back to his usual self soon.

Gosh, they do wrap themselves around our hearts, don’t they? My Sheltie is just 8 months old and pet insurance was one of the first things we did for her. Emergencies never happen at a convenient time, ya know? Better to be prepared.

Our 20 yer old cat, Charlie, recently made that trip to the rainbow bridge. Knew it was coming but it hurts just the same.

I am very glad that your pup will be okay. πŸ™‚

    • 20 years old… wow that’s a long life. But you’re right, it always hurts. I adore Shelties, Marsha! Have you got a picture of your pup?
