is just to love and
be loved in return.”

P
roud wallflower Roxanne Snopek took the red pill, fell in love and now cultivates wild peppermint writes romance novels in her lakeside jungle home office. Come in but beware: she’s fully loaded, safety off, ready for the zombie apocalypse.
Born under a Scorpio moon and raised in a little house on the prairie, Roxanne followed her Alpha Farm Boy to the mountain air and ocean breezes of British Columbia. There, while saving creatures great and small, they raised three warrior-goddesses who appreciate great books and know that you should always, always leave a note.
Romance novels
In 2012 Roxanne sold her first romance novel. Under its original title of Three River Ranch, MONTANA DAWN made the Barnes & Noble Top Ten list, the Amazon Top 100 list and is now the foundation of the four book WILD SKY ROMANCE series. Her second four-book series, MONTANA HOME, also garnered rave reviews. Roxanne now has about 18 published romance/women’s fiction novels and novellas, plus a new four-book series currently in progress. Yeah, she’s busy!
Other writing
Besides romance, Roxanne’s also published various other works, including one mystery novel, a couple of literary short stories and a six-book non-fiction series. One summer, she wrote dialogue and narrative for a video game developer, a project that combined her two favourite genres: mystery and romance. When not writing, she’s on the editorial team at Tule Publishing, does freelance editing for independent authors and edits government reports. (They’re surprisingly interesting.)
Ongoing education
Roxanne has taken many, many courses over the years and recently completed the Editing Certificate program at Simon Fraser University. She’s joined a lot of associations and served on a few boards. She’s also won and finaled in some cool contests.

Roxanne’s journey contains many on-going but basic lessons:
- introversion isn’t fatal;
- creativity is essential;
- you always get lost coming out of the Vancouver airport. Accept it.
