Every Christmas, free-spirited Frankie banishes holiday loneliness with good deeds. Until she gets stuck in the snow.
Local sheriff Red is shocked to find a half-frozen woman trespassing on the ranch he's caring for.
When the power goes out, Red and Frankie must depend on each other in a way that both have avoided for years. The sheriff's quiet holiday is suddenly festive: a crackling fire, candles, carols, and an irresistible stranger...who might be a felon.
I have fallen totally in love with this series. All the charcters are zany, fun, and so very believable. Saving the Sheriff brings back Zach, Des, Blythe and Bliss from the previous books in the Three River Ranch series for cameo appearances. The older twin sisters, Blythe and Bliss, have been in every book so far, and let me tell you….they are hilarious! And so far; all the female characters are strong and really know how to stand on their own two feet. I love that about this series, and hey…the men in this series are real gems with heart of gold when it comes to women, too.

If you like humor, you got that too! If you like insecurities, getting rid of bitterness, Les Mes, costumes, trying to do the right thing, red caribous that might make you think of Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, singing and making up words to songs, having a cause, meddling housekeepers and neighbors that crack you up, or if you need a little pick me up of holiday happiness, and of course finding a little romance then this is for you.

A fun, quick-paced read that will help wipe away any lingering holiday stress. I loved the storyline and the characters were well-developed. It was a light read that was perfect for the holidays. I highly recommend it.
